1 Overview
GPSC Class 1 & 2 is Gujarat's flagship civil services examination, recruiting officers for Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP), Assistant Commissioner, Mamlatdar, and other senior administrative posts under the Gujarat Public Service Commission.
The selection process runs across three stages — a Preliminary objective test, a Mains descriptive examination, and a Personality Test (interview) — making it the most rigorous and prestigious state-level exam in Gujarat, roughly equivalent in structure to the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
